In troubled times of history, people tend to seek help from the forces of the otherworld. Magical rituals and spells - proven means to feel at least a little like a creator of their own reality. The "Digital Shamanism" project uses various media (video, augmented reality with print markers, real objects). Unraveling the cross-threads of analogies and contrasts, the viewer can play with meanings and create their own interpretation of the works.

* “Shamanic Ritual” - a magical ritual conducted by a shaman in an ecstatic state, using ritual objects.
Interactive installation: video panel, computer, touchscreen, microcontroller, microphone, drainpipe, drum, horn, and more.
This project is dedicated to Yakut shaman Alexander Gabyshev, who in 2019 embarked on a journey across the country to Moscow, aiming to expel demons from the Kremlin. During his journey, followers joined him.
He was arrested in 2020 and, by court decision, was placed in a psychiatric clinic for compulsory treatment, where he remains to this day.

The installation includes an object in the form of a stove and a video panel. On the video panel pulses the avatar of a shaman.
Under the stove's burner is a skull with flickering LED lights, and above it is a touchscreen, allowing the viewer to manipulate the shaman.
The viewer can sing, shout, recite poems or spells, using the stove's chimney as a microphone, and change the sound's timbre using the touchscreen.
